Balmain

Saturday, December 29, 2012

(Dress - Camilla, Bag - Chanel, Heels - Isabel Marant)

I arrived to Sydney on Friday super jet lagged with no sleep during my fourteen hour flight, but made up for it later that evening with a thirteen hour nap. Aren't those the best? We rented a rad little house in Balmain, and I could seriously call this beautiful city my home. The Aussies really know how to let loose and relax. I'm hoping some of that spirit rubs off on me.

Off to explore the city! Enjoy your day!

Off To Oz

Wednesday, December 26, 2012

(Hat - Nasty Gal, Sweater - Eternal Creations, Belt - Isabel Marant,
Leather Pants - Tart Collections, Bag - Givenchy, Boots - Chloe)

I've been living in my work custom oxblood faux leather pants for the past few months, and have been coveting the same silhouette in black, and of course, when I went to actually buy them in my size, they were sold out everywhere. Bummer. However, I found this awesome alternative from Tart that is thin, soft, fused, and less prone to stretching as many other genuine leather pants. I of course decided that I need them in all colors available, but unfortunately, they only come in black. If all garments only came in one color, my bank account would be a wee bit more on the chubbier side.

My flight for Oz leaves in a few hours. Beyond stoked!

Enjoy your day!

Casual Holiday

Tuesday, December 25, 2012

(Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Signature Blouse - Equipment, Belt - Isabel Marant,
Shorts - Ksubi, Bag - Givenchy, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

My equipment blouses arrived a few days ago in black and white, and they're officially the best that I've ever owned. Kind of wondering how I ever survived without them now. Not really spending my holiday in a traditional spirit, as I leave for Australia tomorrow for two weeks. I'm frantically organizing and last minute packing for a majority of my day. My pantry is totally empty, so I've been calling around to find a restaurant who'll serve us today. Oh, and did I mention that I'm vegetarian and picky? Wait, picky would be an understatement.

Happy Holidays!

Zombie

Thursday, December 20, 2012

(Hat - Nasty Gal, Sunglasses - Ray-Ban, Tee - LA Made, Bag - Yves Saint Laurent,
Pants - Shona Joy, Boots - Chloe)

I'm totally smitten with these printed pants from Shona Joy, so much so that they've been glued to legs for the past two days. Am I the only one guilty of this? I mean it's so easy when they're fresh on top of the laundry pile. I changed out my tee, of course. Is it me or am I posing like a zombie in this photo? I have this obsession with the AMC series, The Walking Dead, and zombies in general, and I really think that I'm a dead ringer for one in this photo sans the decaying flesh, lol. Creepy.

Happy Thursday!

Twelve Seventeen

Monday, December 17, 2012

(Dress - Laundry By Shelli Segal, Knuckle Clutch - Alexander McQueen)

This maxi by Laundry By Shelli Segal was perfect for a holiday party that I attended last Saturday evening. I also picked up an equally amazing black tuxedo dress from the same designer, that I will be wearing for another holiday party this coming Friday. I love to dress up and I love this time of year even more. The holiday spirit is definitely in the air and it feels sooooo good!

Happy Monday!

Champagne

Monday, December 10, 2012

(Dress - Finders Keepers, Knuckle Clutch - Alexander McQueen, Sandals - Zara)

My style has been super casual lately due to my hectic schedule, so it was so awesome to wear this champagne maxi to dinner on Saturday night following a killer sunset. Everything about this dress is so perfect to me. I see a long lasting relationship in our near future.

I purchased this dress from ICI Fashion, and they're currently running an amazing sale. You can check it out here.

Have a fantastic week!

Susanna

Saturday, December 8, 2012

(Fedora - Asos, Sunglasses - Ray-ban, Sweater - Wandering Minds, Bag - Yves Saint Laurent,
Belt - Isabel Marant, Shorts - Ksubi, Boots - Chloe)

My Chloe Susanna boots have been conveniently glued to my feet ever since they arrived last Tuesday. I knew instantly that this was one of the best purchases that I have ever made. Insane craftsmanship, buttery soft leather, and every detail is beyond perfection. Obsessed would be putting it lightly. Happy happy camper!

Enjoy your Saturday!

Black

Thursday, December 6, 2012

(Hat - Nasty Gal, Dress - Asos, Bag - Chanel, Berry Boots - Isabel Marant)

Never underestimate the power of a basic black dress, and an inexpensive one at that. I found this dress on Asos during their black Friday sale, and after the discount, it ended up being twenty seven dollars. That allowed me to splurge on other things, including these Isabel Marant berry boots that I'd been after for months. Unfortunately, they were not on sale. I'm almost positive that they wouldn't have made it to that point, as it seems to be a pretty popular style. Or maybe that's me justifying paying full price. Boo.

Happy Thursday!

Fiorella

Thursday, November 29, 2012

(Fiorella Dress - Bec & Bridge, Bag - Chanel, Rio Chain Sandals - Isabel Marant)

And my love affair with Bec & Bridge continues. I'm finding that their feminine aesthetic is becoming highly addictive. And thanks to the mini heat waves that swarm through our Southern California winters, as they allow me to wear mini dresses like this out on the weekends. I wore it with my favorite nude staples and danced away my Saturday.

Happy Thursday!

Boyfriend Cozy

Tuesday, November 27, 2012

(Sunglasses - Celine, Sweater - American Apparel, Bag - Yves Saint Laurent,
Belt - Isabel Marant, Denim - Asos, Heels - Christian Louboutin)

I have officially discovered the best boyfriend jeans on the planet, and they're from Asos, and you all need a pair, I promise. I own many pairs, but they've all been on a wham bam thank you ma'am basis, until I discovered this amazing find. I wore them with my new AA sweater (which I need in black now, too, shocker, I know) and my favorite black accessories for a little schlepping around errand running kind of day. I couldn't have been any more cozy. Even in my PJ's.

Hope your week's off to a great start!

Blue Sky

Friday, November 23, 2012

(Beanie - American Apparel, Free People Sweater, Denim - One Teaspoon)

I spent Thanksgiving eating and frolicking on the beach with my love. There's something refreshing about bundling up on the beach barefoot in 60 degree weather whilst breathing in chilly air and walking on cool sand. I spent the rest of my evening plotting my next Net-A-Porter purchase knowing that their end of the season sale would start today. Much to my dismay, none of my picks went on sale. Boohoo.

You can shop their end of the season sale here

Rosetta

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

(Sunglasses - Celine, Pila Sweater - Etoile Isabel Marant, Bag - Yves Saint Laurent,
Belt - Isabel Marant, Rosetta Denim - Bec & Bridge, Pumps - Christian Louboutin)

I'm completely taken by this rosetta print from the Bec & Bridge High Summer Collection. There were so many gorgeous pieces with this print to choose from, that it was very challenging to narrow it down to just one. Even though they're from their summer collection, I'm finding myself wearing them very comfortably in fall/winter. Pairing them up with all black accessories definitely did the trick.

Happy Wednesday!

Let Loose

Saturday, October 27, 2012

(Sunglasses - Nasty Gal, Faux Leopard Jacket - Nasty Gal, Tee - Chaser, Shorts - One Teaspoon, Shoes - Converse)

"If a man insisted on always being serious, and never allowed himself a bit of fun and relaxation, he would go mad or become unstable without knowing it." -Herodotus

Let loose and make the most out of your weekend! Love you guys! xo

Embroidered

Thursday, October 25, 2012

(Sunglasses - Celine, Top - Bella Dahl, Pants - Minusey, Belt - Isabel Marant,
Bag - Yves Saint Laurent, Boots - Zara)

If you were obsessed with the Marant Renell jeans like I was a few seasons back, then you'll be excited to know that you can find an inspired pair here and here from Minusey. I lost in a few bidding wars for the real deal on feeBay, so was stoked when Minusey sent me these. A perfect, affordable replacement if you ask me. Definitely needing the black now.

Happy almost Friday!

Kenzo x New Era

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

(Cap - Kenzo x New Era, Sweater - Alexander Wang, Shorts - Vintage, Bag - Chanel,

I have so much love for caps, so I was super stoked when the Kenzo x New Era collection came out. I of course wanted one in every color, but they only had my size in this combination, which is a good thing! Breaking the cycle one cap at a time.

Happy Wednesday!

Bowie Print Shorts

Saturday, October 20, 2012

(Hat - Vinatge, Blouse - Nasty Gal, Bowie Print Shorts - Maurie & Eve,
Tour Bracelet - Balenciaga, Heels - Sigerson Morrison)

I'm so in love with this bowie print from Maurie & Eve, that surprise surprise, I ordered their singlet dress in the same print. I can be so predictable at times. The same rule goes for prints as it does silhouettes. If I love it, I must own it in all that's available. Am I the only one who frequently does this? Because it feels really lonely in my little club.

Happy Saturday!

Peach & Black

Saturday, October 6, 2012

(Sunglasses - Celine, Blouse - Maurie & Eve, Skirt - Goodnight Macaroon,
Knuckle Clutch - Alexander McQueen, Heels - Zara)

I've been going so casual over the past two weeks that I almost forgot what it felt like to dress up. I changed it up last night by wearing this fabulous wrap top by Maurie & Eve, layered with one of my favorite maxi skirts. The top is one of those that makes me want to own it in every color available. Things that flow and wrap tend to have that affect on me.

Happy Saturday!
